BOSTON BCE MEET

Hello you wretched punks, this would be your honored and regal founders phoe and jeef speaking! We come bearing the fruits of brilliant conversation: A BCE meet-up in Boston! We would like for a decent turn-out so we’re planning it for some time close to or in the summer. The reasons being, people can save money, they have time to plan and it’s warm. Who the hell wants to travel in this frigid shit-clump we call winter? I don’t.

So, this will be about 3 days and two nights. You arrive, we get all friendly, have a whole day to cavort around spreading our pink heart sugar giggle love, then you leave at your leisure the next day. Did I really have to say all that? Probably not.

We were thinking about planning the get-together around Anime Boston which is at the end of May. If this isn’t a good time, there was a thought about pushing it back to August.

The convention was chosen because it seems to be a common interest, however, we had thought of other things to such as laser tag, museum of science, pool (not swimming, sorry -_-), video games (but of course!), etc. This way, if the con isn’t your thing, there’s other stuff to do. Also, if you have suggestions, send them along. We have things planned but nothing is set in stone.

Where will you stay? There was talk of getting hotel arrangements. Whether you guys will get the rooms yourselves or we get a couple big rooms for everyone remains to be discussed. Our only reservations on getting big rooms for everyone would be that me, Mike, and Andy don’t really have the funds, especially if people don’t show up. So, tell us what you think? Is this something you would definitely show up for to make it worth getting a common place to go back to? Or do you think everyone should stick it out and go their separate ways?

How much will it cost? Travel fare (gas money, train, airplane) + money set aside for food + hotel + spending = your cost. We know money is tight for a lot of you (it is for us too) so we’ll work on ways to keep this cost effective.
